Bloodfest 7s is a premier rugby sevens tournament hosted by the Austin Huns Rugby Football Club. Established in 1998, it has grown into one of the nation's largest summer rugby events, featuring divisions for men, women, high school, and middle school teams.

What time does my team play?
The schedule will be released the Monday prior to the tournament. Plan on being the first to KO and the last to KO if you are making travel plans.
No, admission is free for all spectators.
You can register your team by signing up at Bloodfest 7s Registration. Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tournament offers the following divisions:
Men’s: Premier, Open, Social, Super Social
Women’s: Premier, Social
High School Boys: Premier, Open
High School Girls: All levels
Middle School Boys: U14
Premier/Open: Highly competitive and follows World Rugby 7s Laws
Social: More relaxed and allows rolling substitutions and unlimited roster sizes
Super Social: Emphasizes fun with unique rule variations like no kicking for points, special scoring rules, no break aways by skinny backs!
Yes, high school and middle school divisions follow USA Rugby High School Competition Rules and Eligibility. Players must have been full-time students during the 2025–2026 school year.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
Teams participate in pool play, earning points as follows:
Win: 3 points
Draw: 2 points
Loss: 1 point
No-show: 0 points
Top teams advance to knockout rounds to compete for division championships.
Yes, the Super Social division features special rules, including
